The India licence
DentalPin is built in Spain by the DentalPin project and backed by Dentaltix. Its core is source-available under the Business Source License 1.1 and becomes Apache 2.0 four years after each release.
Tresundios Software Products and Services, a DPIIT-recognised startup in Chennai, holds the exclusive licence to offer DentalPin as a hosted service in India. Clinics are the data fiduciaries for their patients under the DPDP Act. We act as your data processor: we store data in India, encrypt it, back it up daily and never sell or share it. You can export or delete everything at any time. The AI assistant is off until you switch it on, and it masks patient identifiers before any request leaves the system.
